Mahalakshmi Layout, Bangalore

It is a township area in the North-West Part of Bangalore in Karnataka, India. It is located near Basaveshwara and Rajajinagar. Mahalakshmi Layout is known as one of the biggest residential areas in Bangalore as it an area constituting of Mahalakshmipuram and Nandini Layout. The famous Hanuman temple, etched in a single monolith stone is within 2 km from this residential area. The BMTC buses are quite regular in this area, making Mahalakshmi Layout well connected to the rest of Bangalore. Mahalakshmi Layout is named after the goddess Mahalakshmi as a temple of the deity is near the township. This area has its own metro station too, named as Mahalakshmi Metro Station.
