DLF to Invest INR 6,000 Cr in Gurugram’s Commercial Real Estate Boom

DLF’s rental arm, DLF Cyber City Developers (DCCDL), is set to invest INR 6,000 crore in developing 75 lakh sq. ft. of premium office and retail spaces in Gurugram. The ambitious project, which includes DLF Downtown and DLF Mall of India, aims to cater to the increasing demand for high-quality, eco-friendly commercial properties, ensuring high occupancy rates and rental appreciation.
DCCDL’s Expansion Plans & Ongoing Developments
DCCDL, a joint venture between DLF (67% stake) and GIC, has already completed 37 lakh sq. ft. of construction. The company has initiated work on 5.5 million sq. ft. of Grade A+ office spaces at DLF Downtown, along with 20 lakh sq. ft. for the upcoming DLF Mall of India. Currently, DCCDL operates a rental portfolio of 40.4 million sq. ft., comprising 36.4 million sq. ft. of office spaces and 4 million sq. ft. of retail assets.

Sriram Khattar, Vice Chairman & MD (Rental Business) of DLF, revealed that 1.3 million sq. ft. of retail space will be completed in 2025, with an additional 2-2.5 million sq. ft. slated for the next three years. This expansion aligns with DLF’s mission to create premium retail destinations that appeal to both global and Indian brands, further solidifying Gurugram’s position as a commercial hub.
