Trichy, Chennai

Trichy or Tiruchi and is located in Tamil Nadu and this is one of the districts of the state. In Tamil Nadu, Trichy is the third largest city when it comes to area and the fourth largest city when it comes to population. It is located in the southern most part of the state at a distance of 322 kilometers from the capital city of Chennai. Trichy is renowned for housing some of the most important universities in the country which are Indian Institute of Management, Indian Institution of Information Technology, National Institute of Technology and so on. Apart from these, there are power plants and other heavy industries in Trichy.
