As an example, a rectangular plot measuring 250 meters long and 120 meters wide would encompass an area of 3 hectares (250 m x 120 m / 10,000 m²/ha). To convert hectares to square feet, multiply the number of hectares by 43,560 (square feet per acre) and then again by 2.471 (acres per hectare).
