Bowenpally, Hyderabad

Bowenpally (sometimes spelt Bow-en-palli) is a neighbourhood in Secunderabad, Hyderabad, India. It is primarily an upper middle class neighbourhood. It has some of the nicest residential colonies. It is located in the outskirts of Secunderabad. Bowenpally is part of the Secunderabad area, where the British ruled for many years. Bowenpally's ancient hamlet with its people-friendly streets still exists. One among the few historic structures remains is an old shrine with some rough carvings of a bull with characteristic Kakatiyan design, near the Bowenpally Police Station. It is a junction that connects several regions of the city.
