Moinabad, Hyderabad

The Indian state of Telangana contains the village of Moinabad in its Ranga Reddy district. It is part of Chevella Revenue Division's Moinabad mandal. Prior to the district reorganisation, the village was governed by the Chevella revenue division and was located in the Ranga Reddy district. The name Moinabad was originally derived from a nobleman of Hyderabad State who was a member of the House of Paigah Nawab Moin-Ud-Dowlah Bahadur Asman Jah. He was the sole owner of the location. With a length of 133 kilometres (83 mi), the new national highway Hyderabad-Kodangal goes through Moinabad.
